CHI GUNG and Health

Chi Gung

Chi Gung consists of

Static exercise  which involves holding a particular position for several minutes

And

Slow repetitive moving exercises.

The exercises  have a meditative quality and have calming effect at the same time as developing strength, stamina and flexibility meditative quality

Nei Gung

Many martial system have sets of strengthening exercises that complement the martial training

Wudang Tai Chi has a set of 24 exercises that supplement the forms and conditioning training.

Some of the exercises are static some involve movement

Before learning the exercises the student goes through a Bai Shi Ceremony with the head of the school
